Our firm was founded by Ellen Kemnitz, CPA in 1990.  Ellen’s interest in business was sparked in 1978, when she started her first business in the 7th grade.  She enjoyed her accounting courses at Waterloo High School, Waterloo, WI.  This started her on the road to a career in Accounting.  She attended University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and majored in Accounting.  Following her engagement to her husband, Tony, she transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.  Ellen graduated with honors in 1986 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting.  Following her college graduation, she began working for an accounting firm in Milwaukee, WI.  Her family relocated to Wausau, WI in 1995.  Ellen accepted a teaching position at Northcentral Technical College.  She currently teaches income tax, financial accounting and business courses.  Ellen attends tax updates and training each year.  She most recently attended the 2009 Tax Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada in July of 2009.  Ellen is currently taking courses to pursue a Masters in Business Administration.
